Oh my God, this is going to become at least a monthly family tradition. Everything is AMAZING. We cant finish a whole Bubba Burger! 😍❤ All staff are friendly too.

It's pretty good but the last time I ate there I got the chicken fried steak and it had some paper that was cooked in the batter. We'll see what happens next time. I'll give it another try. The manager took it off my bill so she made it right.

A fun, quirky, delicious place for a nice meal. When we're back in Lubbock, we're coming back!! (Pictured is the appetizer- deep fried green chilis...yummy.)

Best ribeye I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. The knife set at the table is more a formality, so tender you only need a fork and don’t bother ruining it with sauce. Green Chile creamed corn was also fantastic. Paired with the Windmill Wheat, amazing.

Good food all around, great service, and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!I've heard great things about this place and they definitely delivered. Definitely worth a try if you haven't tried it and a worthy place to stop for a quick bite if you're passing through Lubbock or near campus. Fried green chillies are a must!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The beer selection was not that great at all however the cocktails were good. The steaks were phenomenal. Would definitely go back again.

We had an absolute blast. Our waiter, Joe, was very attentive. We were drinking the wheat pints which were only $2.75. After throwing back quite a few at our leisure we ate a huge sirloin that cut like butter. We can’t wait to go back and try buying a steak by the ounce. The wife was digging all the handsome waiters too.

After long day traveling with 3 kids, we had a lovely dinner. Excellent food and service. Everything was great!!! Steak tip salad, 7oz. Filet (rare), creamed spinach, fried mushrooms, kids burger (huge!), kids pizza, mac n cheese, and cocktails. They even let us have large coffees to-go for the rest of our trip!

Came here for a company dinner. They had one single vegan entree (garden pasta with no garlic butter) and it was in fine print on their menu. I got it and wow, it was bland as hell. Had pretty much no flavor to it, no seasoning whatsoever, not even salted properly. I wasn't expecting much, but at the very least I expected it to be tossed in olive oil and black pepper. Nope, not even that. Sweet potato fries were good though.

Wasn't bad. I had the chicken fried steak. It was a little on the tough side. They have great burgers one of which is pictured below.

We have found our new go-to restaurant whenever we are in Lubbock! I ordered the Where's the Meat pizza baked in a wood fired oven and it was fantastic. The ham, smoked chicken, pepperoni, sausage, and bacon are chopped in small pieces so as to not be an overwhelming amount of meat. It is smokey, crunchy goodness. The amber ale beer brewed on premises is smooooooth and rich with no sharp after taste. The food and drink went together like peas and carrots. Next time, we'll have steak!

Great atmosphere, I always enjoy the food. Service is good even when they are extremely busy. Do make reservations if there is something going on in Lubbock, parking is not great so be ready for that.

Great atmosphere, every dish was awesome, prices were not astronomical. Wonderful food. We will be back.

Great food great beer and friendly staff. The live music was even good. Glad I spotted this little gem on my way through town. Will definitely stop here every time I come through Lubbock. They have green chilies. As a New Mexican any place you can get those out of state is top notch!

My guess is that this restaurant is a local favorite, but not mine. The restaurant is worth a visit just to view the decor but the food was not quite there. To begin my beer was warm (and this is Texas after all). I found to food to be nothing special or unique. Staff were friendly.

Great place to eat for lunch. A little crowded but seated semi quickly. Always get the Choppy Bob which is a chop beef sandwich with fries. This time tried the chicken pot pie. Was really good but super oxen hot. Staff is always friendly and restaurant is always clean. Fried mushrooms are delicious and served with ranch. Got warm bread with butter while we waited for appetizer.

It is okay. There are a lot of other places in the same price range that are better. Its a great place to get the local experience but overall if you want quality I would look elsewhere. Our food consistently comes our overdone, almost burned.

We really love this place. Great place for out of town guests. Yummy food and good service. Like that you can reserve a table.

The absolute best steak I have ever had! The appetizer was just as good, nachos, and the sides were just the cake topper! The only thing I don’t recommend here is the Mac and cheese, but literally everything else is top notch

Down home cooking .. don't dress up tho, I was thinking that it was a fancy high end place. More like Logan's without the crowded feeling . Great steaks I ordered the Miss Kitty Kat the steak cut like butter

We usually get great service but they were slow and forgot my salad all together. Coffee maker was broken. Food was good.

I guess since we live in West Texas you don't think we deserve good service?? PLEASE don't serve all the food together! Let us have a SALAD course then the MAIN course.

It my first time there I was very impressed the food was very good and the ribeye steak was cooked to perfection I would recommend to anyone that wants very fine dinner.

Great food and brews. Only complaint is a bit unsanitary with the fixtures over our plates were coated in dust and the cooks texting on their phone while using the same gloves to prepare food. Needs a bit of a cleaning and cook staff need to be aware to prevent cross contamination.

Steak was cooked to perfection. The saute cook is on point. Only 4 stars because we waited awhile before our server got our drinks and my steak came out before coco shrimp. Other than that atmosphere is nice even if its Techs graduation weekend. Will definitely come again

Tasty steaks, sides and salads in an authentic and lively atmosphere. Overall, great food and drink, a must stop if your a traveler. It’s one of my favorites.

Very nice brewery and sit down restaurant. A little bit cramp. Friendly staffs, close to Texas Tech University. Surrounded by other restaurants and breweries. Have separate room for private events. They have a good selection of beers, cocktails and wines. The meals are very decent size; definitely will fill you up. I highly recommend to give this restaurant a shoot. The decor is very western like and can use a little bit updates. ;)

Good atmosphere (restaurant design). Decent food taste but not complementary of the atmosphere. Usually busy. Bathrooms are a long walk (when busy). You’re not going to be impressed with the menu. It is good for a weekend guest hosting and also good Friday night vibes.

I have been eating at this family run restaurant for years. The food is always good. One of my favorites is the naked salmon pecan salad. I don't believe it is terribly low calorie choice but the taste is amazing. Great place to meet family in friends in a fun casual atmosphere.

5 stars for the quality/price of the beef and the atmosphere...4 stars for clunky service. So glad we tried the fried green chiles as they were fantastic and didn’t even need the dipping sauce. I opted to pick my cut of ribeye and it did not disappoint. Totally dig that they leave the skins n the mashed potatoes...totally old school. Oddly they brought out my friend’s food right after we ordered so we sent it back to come out w my order...very odd to say the least. Definitely worth the visit when n town... and their brewed beer is worth a try.

It was pretty full and seemed the place to be on a Friday night. I wish there was better seating for large parties to be able to see each other and have a conversation. The food was ok. The strawberry margarita was too sweet. I think they forgot the alcohol? My 2nd drink was better. The queso and chips was much better than my main entree. Those weird fried green beans need to go. Yuk

Helping operate multiple hotels here in Lubbock gives me the opportunity to provide recommendations to all of our locations guests and Triple J's Chop House is always a grand slam! I have always suggested this Restaurant above all others and do follow up with our guest about their experiences while there. While I cant have each one of them leave a review I can guarantee that the operating team of the establishment has never let a single one of my guests down! If I where to take a guess, it would be that I have had 200+ guests return to their hotels to rave about their experience and the genuine quality of everything. Keep making great food! At a great cost! With great service! With great cooks! And with great Management! And our management team will continue to highly recommend you to our guests.

We went to Triple J based on reviews. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with shoestring fries. The sandwich was very good, the chicken was tender. There were two chicken breasts, but they were not too big or thick. And I like my fries thin and these fries were really good. The service was prompt and friendly. Interesting stuff in the restaurant. A place you wander looking at it all.

This place has great food, but the majority of staff there are highly disrespectful. Typical young millennial kids and one of them is a manager.

Classic Dr. Pepper with a Margherita Pizza w/Shrimp...What?!...FOX (our server), suggested it. It was AMAZING! The spices, the cheese, the crust...it all works in ways I can't describe. It is a 10 on the "OO" factor.

Mr. Brown said that he normally does not cut black people's hair, but after my husband showed him that he was confident and they discussed the blade, he did it!! I think they bridged a little of the gap that day and my husband loves to tell the story. Thank you, Mr. Brown!

This was our first experience at Triple J's and we went based off of the reviews we saw on here. Now we would like to contribute to those reviews by saying that we enjoyed not only our meals but also the environment. It was cozy and we liked the old Texas feel as well as the live music and decorating all around the place. Who puts a longhorn upside down...Red Raiders do! I'll add that we visited at 6:30 on a Friday night with graduation reservations booking the place. We had no reservation ourselves but we're placed at a table top, were served and finished in an hour's time. Very impressive considering the packed house. We will definitely go back again.

Good food, salads are solid, the nachos are always delicious as are the pizza sticks. They get busy on weekends but are always a pleasure.

I can not say how amazing their good is! It can get packed and have a tight squeeze there. You will need to make reservations. It is totally worth the wait though!

This was very lovely and warm. I am from France and that is a good food country, but this was in a another level. I will put a picture from my visiting there.

Came here with a friend as I was passing through town because I love steak. It wasn't too busy as it was a weekday night, but the service I got was a bit slow. For my entree, I got the ancho grilled filet mignon and I was not a fan of the mushroom sauce at all. The tenderloin is my favorite cut of beef, so I came in with high expectations and left disappointed. As for the atmosphere, I did like it - definitely would make for a good place to come with friends on a night out. Overall, I didn't have a good experience.

I ordered the honey ribeye and it was easily the best steak I've ever had. It had such a deep flavor and was juicy. I had the Mac and cheese on the side and it was amazing too! VERY cheesy! I still can't get over how amazing the ribeye was. It was phenomenal. The staff here is super nice and the chef who prepared our food came out to be sure it was all cooked to our liking! Fantastic place!! I can't wait to come here again. Our server was Justice and he did a great job!!

Saw this place from all the other recommendations as I was passing through Lubbock, and glad I stopped here. Taylor was our waitress and she was very nice and friendly. The food was great and they had a good selection of beers in house. The meal is very filling, so expect to be tired after eating. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Good place for chicken fried steak, chopped steak, chicken pot pie and their choppy Bob barbecue sandwiches. Got a couple of their homemade Brews for the first time and they really didn't hit the spot.
